first quilt made easy with the Cricut Maker!

I have always been so impressed with quilters and amazed at how efficient they make it look. I am not very good at long-term projects. The follow through kills my excitement every single time. I am much more inclined to get excited about an idea, bust out the project, and feel satisfied if lots of planning isn't involved. It is just the kind of crafter I am!

But, when the Cricut Maker came out, I felt so inspired to try and take my first quilt. If it really did speed up the process and take all the guess work out of patterns, then I should be able to make one in one sitting, yes?! That was my goal and guess what?! I made it happen!

My only disappointment is that I didn't video the whole process. There were some funny moments, between me and the sewing machine, but, by the end of the day, I felt like I had obtained a new set of skills! AND, I have this adorable baby quilt to show for it.
