diy valentine necklaces

Friends, can I just tell you - I am really excited about this post because I love how it turned out! A few weeks ago, I was cleaning out my office and found these wooden beads that I bought so long ago. So as my husband and I watched a movie over the weekend, I painted away!

I stuck with simple colors, simple hearts, and lots of fun! The kids were so excited and proud of themselves as they picked different combinations and strung the beads to make necklaces and bracelets.

Fun, stylish, and memorable - I could't ask for a better Valentine, myself!

The perfect activity for any Valentine's or Galantine’s Day party! Step one: find or buy wooden beads in a variety of sizes and shapes. Step two: paint them with beautiful colors - I choose red/orange, bright pink, yellow, peach, and a light aqua. Step three: after the base coat, add hearts or simple dot patterns. Step four: use fun colored twine and let the kids/friends string them up! The bright colors, the fun string, these necklaces and bracelets would be perfect for any Valentine's Day party!
