Matilda is everything I could have ever hoped for. She makes me laugh all day long as she gives me raspberries every chance she gets. Watching the pride and excitement on her face as she walks across the room is perfection. The way she is starting to rock and kiss her stuffed animals melts my heart. She is this amazing little person who definitely has a mind of her own and I simply cannot get enough.

In the same respect, Tyler and I were joking over the weekend that this is going to be the hardest year yet. She is at the age where she can physically explore with determination but lacks an understanding of what is gross, dirty, or otherwise. We started remembering all the things Parker was caught doing - like licking the bottom of shoes, touching the toilet, and rubbing his hands on any wheel he could get to.

Yep, this year is going to be a tricky one. Wish us luck as we try to keep Matilda safe and healthy without going completely crazy.

P.S. I knitted this scarf while Matilda was in the hospital. She found it and insisted on carrying it around with her all day. It was too cute.
