the transplant story told by brother

We were at a birthday party and one of Parker's classmates asked where Matilda was and why she didn't come. Before I could say anything, Parker started explaining that she had to stay home a lot because she gets sick too much. The two 4 year olds sat together, eating cake, and talking about Matilda's transplant. I caught about a quarter of the conversation on video.

I have heard Parker tell the story several times to his friends. I try to stand back and let him take the lead. But, I always make sure that he gets back to the fact that she is okay, that our family is okay, and that we try our best to keep it like that.
