Using the extra lights I made for the Merry Mag Holiday Garland, it was easy to make an advent calendar! Especially with my Cricut Explore! All I needed to do was have the Cricut cut out numbers small enough to fit on each light. Then, I added some string and hung them from a pegboard - perfect for adding a little texture above the fireplace. Each day the kids will hang the corresponding number onto a deer that was gifted to us a few Christmases ago, but you could just as easily add them to a mini tree! I love how this project turned out!
