leprechaun cake

Over the weekend, Parker and I had fun making itty-bitty cakes in preparation for our itty-bitty St. Patrick's Day leprechaun friends. Here is how you can make your own.

Materials: various cookies (we used Oreos and Nilla wafers), frosting, toothpicks, glue, cutouts (I used the Cricut Explore to cut mine) or stickers.

Process: Stack your cookies, frost, decorate as you usually would a cake, and top with a festive element. To make mine I searched (St. Patrick's Day) in the Cricut Design Space, and had my Cricut Explore do all the hard work. But you could just as easily buy some stickers or cut something yourself. I carefully glued each design onto a toothpick and stuck it into the mini cake.

Time: This took no longer than a half hour. Enjoy!
