I woke up with mastitis and she woke up with a rash. I had to be put on antibiotics which means putting a hold on breastfeeding for ten days. Matilda needed to see her pediatrician about her rash. Before leaving for our appointments I held Matilda for a few extra minutes and tried to saver everything about her. It was nothing, just regular baby heat rash. Part of me wonders if I will ever be able to not worry, and the other part of me hopes that I will never let my guard down. For now, I will just be happy when these ten days are up and I can feel like myself again.
