Grab some snacks and a few good books and head out to the park. It doesn't have to be fancy, it can be done on a whim or planned the day before. Your kids won't care if you didn't bake cookies, or invite a friend, or coordinate outfits. There is no need for an itinerary, just an appetite and some imagination. Matilda loved the wind. Parker loved the ants-on-a-log. It was perfect.
