One of my favorite elements of Parker's "hi five" party was having an actual high five contest where everyone got to take home a trophy as a prize. Only, explaining a high five contest to a group of 5 year olds was beyond my communications skills - even with a degree in elementary education. So, instead, I high five-ed everyone and then Parker proudly handed each of his friends a trophy.
But the real truth is that I'm the winner because I'm officially a contributor over at eHow.com! My first article is live and, not at all coincidently, it is a tutorial on How to Make Homemade Trophies. So please head on over to check it out. I even included a free download for the ribbons - so you are set to make your own!
